I serve on the Board of Directors of the First Maryland Disability Trust and the Planned Giving Advisory Council for the Kennedy Krieger Institute. I am the Baltimore County Coordinator for the Maryland State Bar Association’s annual Law Day. I am a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, the Estates and Trusts and Elder Law Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Estates and Trusts Committee of the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Planned Giving Roundtable. I participate in the Estate and Gift Tax Study Group of the Maryland State Bar Association and volunteer for the Baltimore County Bar Association’s 60+ Program.
I have lectured on estate planning, probate, and trust administration to diverse audiences, appeared on television, radio, and podcasts, and been published in print and on-line media sources. I am an author and presenter for the National Business Institute and have served as an expert trial witness in estate-related litigation. I am a parent ambassador at the McDonogh School and sit on the Board of Directors of the Associated Jewish Charities.
Prior to opening my own practice, I worked as a senior attorney in the Division of Enforcement of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. I graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995, and am admitted to practice in Maryland. I received my bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 1992.
